Equity Sounding Board Application Form
This application serves to recruit members for a new Equity Sounding Board to support CalMTA’s efforts to apply an equity lens in the development of a market transformation portfolio for California. We do this to ensure that the benefits of energy efficiency investment are enjoyed by all California ratepayers, especially those living in Environmental and Social Justice (ESJ) communities.
While the Equity Sounding Board is not an official governing body and has no authority over CalMTA, we believe direct engagement with representatives of ESJ communities is an essential step to achieving California’s energy efficiency goals.
This eight-member advisory group represents diverse sectors and professional backgrounds, who advocate for or work within ESJ communities throughout California. The Equity Sounding Board provides professional insight and feedback on selected market transformation initiatives (MTIs), using the Equity Sounding Board guiding principles to review concept development, program development, and implementation plans.
This application should take no more than an hour to complete. Please contact Laura Shapiro if you require accommodation.
