CalMTA is excited to share our efforts to promote energy-efficient water heating. We have two potential Market Transformation Initiatives (MTIs) focused on expanding the availability of heat pump technologies to improve efficiency and reduce carbon emissions of commercial and residential water heating.
According to our MTI development process, Advancement Plans are now being implemented. These plans lay out the research and investigation that the CalMTA team will pursue to determine viability of these technologies to become full MTIs.
