Market Transformation Advisory Board (MTAB) Meeting – 4/22/25
This four-hour virtual MTAB meeting had a split agenda. The first half of this meeting was reporting on CalMTA’s first quarter activity including financial updates. The second portion of this MTAB meeting was continued MTAB business including conflict of interest training, seating of new and continuing members, an update on the CPUC proceeding requesting approval for the first two initiatives, and comments received on the 2024 Request for Ideas Disposition Report.
After the MTAB meeting, we took time to honor Nils Strindberg, our colleague who passed away in March. As a colleague, friend, and collaborator, Nils was incredibly kind, generous with his time, and knowledgeable. Prior to joining the CalMTA team, he held various energy efficiency positions at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and California Energy Commission (CEC), where he drafted many plans, resolutions, and decisions that continue to shape energy efficiency policy in California. Throughout his impactful career Nils built a network of relationships with staff and leadership at public agencies, utilities, and other program administrators. Thank you to those who participated in remembering Nils.
