During the virtual meeting on Sept. 29, CalMTA team and MTAB members discussed key topics related to the forming Commercial Rooftop Units (CRTUs) initiative under Part 2 of the 2025 Idea to Initiative education series. Idea to Initiative allows MTAB members and interested parties to review the research and analysis that supports implementation planning for developing market transformation initiatives (MTIs).
The 9/29 agenda covered a review of CRTUs product assessment and definition and a reminder of the logic model strategic interventions in the context of the market progress indicators (MPIs) and milestones, which were also shared. Review of the Total System Benefit (TSB) and cost-effectiveness analysis for the developing CRTU MTI will be conducted during an MTAB meeting to be scheduled in October to allow sufficient time for sharing and discussion. A meeting announcement will be sent as soon as the date is finalized.
