CalMTA is pleased to announce the four new Market Transformation Advisory Board (MTAB) members starting new two-year terms through April 2027.
We welcome:
- Cyane Dandridge, SEI | Workforce and/or Labor Representative
- Jeff Harris, Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) | National/Regional Energy Efficiency Policy Professional
- Mary Anderson, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) | Investor-Owned Utility (IOU) Representative
- Jennifer Green, MCE | Community Choice Aggregation/Regional Energy Network (CCA/REN) Representative
Both Cyane Dandridge and Jeff Harris are returning MTAB members who reapplied for new terms and were reseated. The new IOU and REN/CCA representatives include Mary Anderson and Jennifer Green, respectively. Outgoing members include Randall Higa of Southern California Edison (previous IOU representative), Karina Camacho of I-REN (previous REN/CCA representative), and Ky-An Tran of California Public Advocates.
“The MTAB is a critical component of CalMTA’s work and we are excited to collaborate with these highly expert members to develop a market transformation portfolio that will help California meet its efficiency and decarbonization goals,” said Lynette Curthoys, vice president of market transformation at CalMTA.
“We are extremely grateful for the time and attention of these departing MTAB members who contributed to the start-up of CalMTA and the rapid progress we have made,” she said.
The MTAB contributes expertise and viewpoints to shape California’s market transformation initiatives. Members offer impartial, non-binding advice to CalMTA and California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) throughout the planning and execution of market transformation efforts. This includes assessing idea selection, providing input on research plans, and monitoring progress. Members are recruited through an open application and scoring process. Recommended candidates are ultimately approved by the CPUC.
“I have been very grateful to serve on MTAB. I believe the work we are doing is critically important for ensuring innovative technologies and approaches are broadly available to California ratepayers, while making sure the people most effected by climate change benefit,” said Cyane Dandridge, Executive Director at SEI.
