MARKET TRANSFORMATION

ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

On Demand: MTAB Meeting – 11/12-13/2025

The Market Transformation Advisory Board (MTAB) convened for a two-day hybrid meeting (in-person and virtual options) with presentations and discussion on current market transformation initiatives (MTIs), including Commercial Rooftop Units (CRTUs), Commercial Replacement and Attachment Window Solutions (CRAWS), and Residential Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH). Both days included opportunities for public comment.

Day 1 focused on the Commercial Rooftop Units (CRTUs) Market Transformation Initiative plan, which will be included in the meeting packet, as well as market adoption forecasts, cost-effectiveness and sensitivity analysis, and evaluation and program alignment appendices. The agenda also included updates on Phase I progress, outcomes from the CPUC application proceeding, and an overview of the upcoming request for proposals for the first MTI(s) to enter implementation.

Day 2 centered on two initiatives: Commercial Replacement and Attachment Window Solutions (CRAWS) and Residential Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH). Presentations covered market characterization findings, market transformation theories, and logic models for both initiatives.
