This MTI is designed to accelerate adoption of room heat pumps (RHPs) to provide efficient heating and cooling in existing small, single-family, and multifamily households. This MTI was approved by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) on Nov. 20. The initial contract term for this MTI is three years with an implementation budget not-to-exceed $2.13M for the first year.
