Program Partner Webinar​: Residential Heat Pump Water Heating MTI

CalMTA is finalizing a Residential Heat Pump Water Heating (HPWH) Market Transformation Initiative (MTI) plan in California that will be submitted for CPUC approval in the second quarter of 2026.

All strategic interventions proposed to accelerate the adoption of residential HPWH products have a collaborative focus aimed at avoiding duplication and coordinating with existing statewide activities. These interventions include aligning HPWH development and promotion with California market needs, identifying and targeting promising submarkets, and creating a consistent statewide infrastructure to scale up HPWH adoption.

We invited potential program partners to join this webinar to learn more about the proposed MTI and potential opportunities for collaboration, ask questions, and share feedback directly with CalMTA.
